I’m excited, but not super nervous! I don’t think I would choose Amherst over the current options I have, so heading into it prepared for anything!
How is the LGBTQ community at Amherst?
I heard that LGBTQ+ folks are somewhat a rarity at Amherst (not confirmed, just based on what I’ve heard from students/alums), though the campus is known to be very accepting. It is interesting to note that Amherst is the only college (that I’m aware of) that asks if you are LGBTQ+ and your experience as a member in that community.
Any portal myth for Amherst?
lol my financial aid portal says this:
We look forward to working with you and your family during your time at Amherst! If you have questions about your financial aid award, please be in contact with our office.
The Office of Financial Aid
i have the same , probably everyone has
can you see your financial documents now or are they removed?
i can’t see them.
Yea I also have it. Probably everyone has
Financial aid docs removed
Yep, the fin aid docs have been removed for everyone.
Same here. Daughter working on a 3 college waitlisted streak. Anyone else think they are waitlisting more kids this year?
Yeah, I wouldn’t be surprised. It’s gonna be hard to predict the yields this year so I’m guessing the colleges are just trying to play it safe.
What time is the decision coming
6:21pm
yoo im also on quite the waitlist streak
Is anyone else’s right bar gone? Like where it used to say the Important Deadlines and their tweets?
mine is still there
Absolutely - my son applied to 12 schools - has heard from 8 - 4 acceptance & 4 Waitlists. I can’t believe he hasn’t actually received one rejection yet. That might come today, I suppose.
mine is gone
