^ That’s what I’ve been wondering about as well. It seems like Amherst releases their admissions decisions relatively later though…at least that’s how it has been in the past.

My daughter was a grad 2 years ago and is now in medschool. Good luck to all of you, I can honestly say my D loved every day at Amherst and I hope you all have that experience as well.

I hear last week of this month ie next week [Officially before 1st April]. Admitted students day is on April 13, 14. Good Luck to you all.

Has anyone got Final High School transcript on required items list? When I checked last time, it wasn’t there. Is this a positive sign? On this link-

@BetterThanBest I also have it, so we can’t really verify if it means something or not. I kind of doubt that they’d put something there as an indication of admission.

@nhdmaniac- ZZ I am being too hopeful, but why would they put it for already rejected students? It is also true that they updated my tracking page; so if I were to be rejected, why would they put it up in the first place?
Oh boy…

@BetterThanBest It’s probably something that they update for everyone. You know, it’s probably easier to update the entire system instead of just updating the portals of those admitted. (Besides, I’m pretty sure they only ask for final grades for those enrolled, not those admitted, so in theory, it’d make the most sense only if ED acceptees had it.) But maybe not. I’d like to hold onto your theory because I’d love to know about my Amherst admission status, but I’m just throwing in some skepticism.

It’s good to have some balance in debate, I fear what you say is true.

I have it as well on my My Documents list. Is there anyone here who does NOT have this?

I have it, but don’t remember if it was there before or not.

Did anyone’s My Amherst tab change with the interests?

I had the final high school transcript from the beginning. Are you sure that it was just added? Maybe I am wrong but Im pretty sure it did exist from the start.

Regarding the Final High School Transcript, I have had it in my checklist at least since mid-February. Most likely, it doesn’t mean anything.

Wishful thinking lol. It recently popped up for me though @hotspurs .

I think you are in!

My is like " " Final High School Transcript ______________ and then blank""

there is no PENDING option!!

So people with PENDING … I think you guys are in! :)

@ashleymartin Do you know if anyone has a “pending” option? There have been no reports of it on this forum, so I don’t know where you’re drawing that conclusion from. And technically, as I previously said, it wouldn’t make sense for them to want a final transcript unless you’ve ENROLLED and PAID THE DEPOSIT, not just got accepted. If we’re going to go into speculation, I still stand by my reasoning that they’ve updated the system at some point, and did the exact same thing for everyone, regardless of admission status. We have no evidence to prove otherwise, and frankly, does anyone disagree that it’s easier to just update everyone’s instead of updating the checklist for those accepted? (In addition, updating it like that would be contrary to having an admissions date over a week away. The admissions office isn’t stupid. They won’t prematurely release decisions unless they want to.)

Guys, I know it’s normal to have some speculation, but please stop drawing and pushing conclusions before they are verified. First there’s the “interests” tab, and now there’s the Final HS Transcript.

Other schools have been known to do it. My brother applied elsewhere two years ago and two hours before the decision was posted online, his portal all of a sudden had a tab for final transcript. At some schools, it is a valid phenomenon.

Do you know if those rejected also had the tab? If they didn’t, that’s definitely some fault of the school.

But to have it done at least a week before decisions are supposed to be released? I doubt that that’s what Amherst is doing, especially considering the fact that it appears the same for everybody. (Statistically, especially because CC is a high-achieving group, someone should have something different – indicating an acceptance or a denial. It’s all the same for everybody, so there’s no reason to draw conclusions.)

I doubt it too with Amherst. It’s different for a portal to change just before an online release of a decision. I doubt that rejected students get that change just before the decision is released.

Mine doesn’t say pending, and I have had that box since February as well.
