what's the difference between the amsco prep book than say PR, REA, or barron's? Everyone here seem to like amsco a lot but its not a major prep book company as far as I know and the thing cost ten bucks more than all the rest of them. So is it worth it?

REA is very good, though I wasn't too fond of it since the sections were too tiny (in essence, a bit too concise). AMSCO is very thorough, well-organized, and clear. It's like the textbook minus the crap. Barron's isn't very good for review, more for strategy. I don't know the PR book.

It costs about the same as far as I can remember (~$16).

Yea, I'm pretty sure amsco is only 16 bucks.

I bought AMSCO to read along the pagent as a sort of summary.
I'll most likely buy the REA book six weeks prior to the test.

amsco ~$23, all the other ones ~$11
at least on amazon

I'll check both out I guess

Don't use Amazon for the AMSCO book; go to the publisher's site. (You can find it just by searching "AMSCO answers" and there's a thread with a link to the page to buy the book.)
