REA or Amsco for USH?

I'm in honors in my school. I plan on self-studying for the APUSH test, though.
Which book is better - REA or Amsco? I can't find any Amsco books for under $105, while REA is only $20. What do you guys think, is Amsco much better than REA?

Is this the Amsco book you're looking for?

The review in REA was horrible. The problem--it wasn't review. It was essentially an entire history book shrunk into a smaller font without the pictures. This being said, however, I would still go with REA because of the incredible tests they include.

When I took the test (5), some of the questions were literally worded almost identically. The practice and knowledge I gained from their tests is worth the price of the book, easily.

AMSCO is a better review, but you need to spend more time with it for it to be more effective than REA. REA is a nice survey, some big mistakes tho. I recommend AMSCO.

I recommed AMSCO because it appears to be very consecise and the questions appear to be similar to what would appear on an AP Exam.

im probably getting both.

AMSCO was pretty good for me last year. The only real studying I did for the AP was reading all of AMSCO in the three days before the test and I got a 4.

I've used both before and I found AMSCO to be the better one.
