<p>I scored a 670 so unfortunately I will have to take this exam</p>
<p>I just looked today to find some dates and to my surprise the date was for Thursday April 5th (in TWO days!!!)</p>
<p>Is this the ONLY date for us to take this exam? Too much of a short notice for this exam, and I can't even login with my UC APP ID and my last four digits of my SSN#</p>

<p>You also don't have to take it if you got a 4 or 5 on the English Lit or English Language AP test.</p>

<p>I believe that's for SPRING ADMITS/TRANSFERS. The test for fall freshman (us) is May 12th.</p>

<p>I thought that you're also exempt from taking it if you got a 3 on the AP English exams...</p>

and it turns out that you can take the test ANYWHERE that administers the test.. not just at UCI campus</p>
<p>If you are using the AP scores to be exempt (3,4,5) from this placement exam, UCI needs an offcial AP Score report. You have to request to send it to UCI before class scheduling (SPOP).</p>

<p>If you check your MYUCI, you should be able to view your test scores that you have previously submitted. UCI needs the Official SAT scores. You will find it there if they have the official or self-reported score. If UCI does not have your most recent SAT scores, then go to Collegboard.com and pay some fees to send it to UCI.</p>

<p>I got an email from UC today stating that I have not met the writing requirement. They sent me information on the date and location of my exam. For me it is on may 12</p>
<p>My daughter did not get an email letter about the placement exam. I called the UCI office and they said if they did not get a letter, everything is ok. We just made sure we ordered the OFFICIAL AP score report and sent it to UCI.</p>
<p>well i called the UC analytical writing number, and it seems the schools didn't recieve my scores, and they told me to call collegeboard.</p>
<p>i called collegeboard and they resent my scores to all the schools.</p>
<p>i'll probably call irvine next.</p>
