$$$ and acceptance

i got the gw engineering medal towards the end of my junior year. although it doesn't gaurantee a scholarship, i called the admissions office and asked. they said if you have above a certain sat score, you'll get $. they didn't specify. i have a 2000 on my sat, i dont work as hard as i should but im taking the toughest courses my school has to offer which is not much hah, and have a 97 and am in the top 10 so i wont complain cuz im lazy. im pretty good at math and science. im gonna do intel this year, and i was the amc10 winner. i also do community service and im the school orchestra's concert mistress. and thats about it, in brief.

please tell me what you think, although i know i prob won't be fortunate enough to get a full ride, will i be able to get a big enough scholarship?

You won't get a merit full ride, although, depending on your financial circumstances, you may get one based on financial need. Which school are you interested in? Engineering? That can make a difference. The Engineering school has lower cut-offs for merit scholarships. What was the breakdown of your 2000 score? Also, always remember, what was true last year may change for next year.

ohh i see. idk know if i want to do engineering, i was thinking maybe pre med or the 6 year ba/jd thing. my sat was M720 W700 CR560. i suck at reading =</p>
