I AM NOT GAY, nor do I plan to become. HSC is the last college for gay men. HSC guys are generally Christian in thier belifs and the "alternative" lifestyle IS NOT an alternative!

OK, so we go back to what your parents are afraid of...

perhaps, they see "giving" me the options to ISS only having to pay 25%. Why go ANYWHERE ELSE? is there thinking.

Well if they're paying...

yes--I'm trying to gather as much money as possible. HSC, I've heard is very generous with aid. At the VERY least I should be eliagable for 2,000 in scholarships.

Wabash I can see why you are so uncomfortable with being called gay. I saw your posts in the Coming out in High school thread. You are very homophobic.

My D applied to schools all over the country and decided to go close but not too close- CA, a 6-7 hr drive. Now however she is frantic about saying goodbye to her friends and worrying about their relationships changing(they will!) and not seeing them, to the point I can't get her to shop with me for school.She has tons of friends and a new boyfriend and needs to see everyone one last time! She will do fine but the anxiety comes out in different ways for everyone. Carolyn, your D just havig surgery is probably feeling more vulnerable then usual but that will fade as time goes on and it becomes a memory. It is always nice to be close to family when you are not feeling yourself.

Pardon Me? I am not homophobic. I do not fear gays. I have friends who are gay! I don't agree with thier lifestyle choice.

<<pardon me?="" i="" am="" not="" homophobic.="" do="" fear="" gays.="" have="" friends="" who="" are="" gay!="" don't="" agree="" with="" thier="" lifestyle="" choice.="">></pardon>

Please, don't even go there. You're not gay, so you don't know whether or not your friends made a "choice."

Homophobia, BTW, doesn't just refer to fear of homosexuals - it also refers to contempt and extreme dislike towards them.

I don't have contempt for or extreme dislike for them and how do u know that it is not a choice? (I'm just asking)

This has gotten so far from its orginal intent
