About Fedex: do you have to give any kind of ID over the phone? How do they know it really is you?

Exeter sends the happy package by regular mail.

mayafairy, I think that since we live in the Southwest, the packages would come by air, like Zoberist said. Which means that it wouldn’t show up in their system yet.

I just called and no package in transit for me. ugh, the suspense in killing me. At least tomorrow morning I have baseball practice so I can take my mind off these whole ordeal for a little while…

WorriedOne, no, no ID required. All you have to do is ask them if they have a package that is in transit for your house from Andover, Massachusetts. They do ask for your name (at least they did for me) and that was the only form of ID they asked for.

So do the packages from Exeter typically came on the 10th or later?

Mayafairy, Deerfield doesn’t FedEx, so don’t worry. I think it is sent by regular USPS mail which you may get tomorrow or Monday.

Exeter sends an email to you/your parents at 6 AM EST or little after. Please check your junk mail also, just in case.

Later–in our case, several days later, but we don’t live in the NE area. I assurme they’re mailed on the 10th. If you need FA, this means you don’t get your FA decision for a few days, but it’s Exeter, so admit=very generous aid.

Just called Fedex; D. getting a package 3/10 from PA.

Is Fedex allowed to give you that information on the phone? What if you just say, “Hi, I’m ____ and my address is ____”? They can’t prove that it’s you. For all they know, it could be your stalker or something…

@WorriedOne… Don’t worry. I was told that there was a package for me, but they would not tell me what it was, or who it was from unless I was able to correctly verify who it was coming from. They are not allowed to disclose any information about the contents of the package unless you can give them correct verification. They do, however, tell you if you have a package on the way or not.

Unfortunately for me, it was a mistake, and I actually do not have a package on the way to me :’(

Congratulations to all those getting packages!!!

@Deerfield2015: DA doesn’t FedEx anymore? They did 2 years ago.

I recall they may have been USPS expressmail, not FedEx. I’m sure most will receive the letters by Monday.

I haven’t heard from Andover yet, but I was sent a FedEx e-mail saying a package was coming from the Exeter AO.
Also, anyone know when Andover is going to put their admission results online? They said it was available for int’l students to check today, but what time?

10:00 is when andover puts the results on MyAndover for intls

Anyone gotten their package/deny letter yet?

Exeter sends package via fedex? This is new information.

Have not seen anything yet.

@radDAD75 - exeter is email followed by package in snailmail.

That’s what I thought Redsoxfan. I got the email at 5:57am, followed by an invite to a local reception.
