Any information on TAFT… I have seen some people post they have received notification I think they must be international… Does TAFT fedex decisions… how should I expect to receive an answer from them??

Got it, Stephen C. Sherrill award :-))

I’m really starting to worry…It’s 11:30 and no FedEx. Unless…does the mailman deliver fedex packages of that size or does the fedex guy have to do it himself? and what time do they usually come!!!

Don’t worry, Starkali, RadDAD75 is creating some enormous bad kharma for himself and/or his son. Check back in a few years from now when his kid gets owned by the competition at those schools and he ends up matriculating at some third tier Southern DIII LAC.

D. got the FedEx at around 10 AM. Andover kept the tradition despite what is on their website.

Wow. I’m done. Good luck to you all. Sorry to offend you starkali. I wish you success. To the person who wishes harm on a child. Shame on you.

Pure envy! Celebrate you and your son deserve it !

Congrats RadDAD75. BTW, what is “Stephen C. Sherill award.” He has been on Andover board in past. Is it an athletic awards for incoming students? ( if you care to illuminate us).

anyone of you guys from the midwest that got their packages?

Thank you Exetermum! And no not an athletic award. FYI my son has a 96 avg and did extremely well on ssat. The only reason why I mention sports is because the academics are obviously equal.

well, same as andover i think

Mailed Wl and rejections
USPS priority mail Acceptances

Raddad- if you are for real, you have made yourself and your child pretty easily identifiable. You might want to read the thread pinned to the top of the board…“for first time posters” or something along those lines…

That’s fine. We are happy and blessed. I’m pretty sure PA does not have a shortage of A student athlete applicants

I see posters criticizing RadDad which I think is unnecessary. It is OK to celebrate success and we all know he means no harm to other applicants! Jmilton and others, just chillax!!

I suspect what raised Starkali’s ire was this “stephen c. Sherrill award” quote which implied that not only his son “made a clean sweep,” to quote his own words; but was awarded some prize by PA.
As an incoming sophomore, I presume PA could only give you an award for “Best Admitted of the year,” in sports or academic or overall POTENTIAL if some such award existed.
It is not uncommon over the years to see several students who are admitted to multiple, highly desirable schools. I wish his son best of luck though in my personal view, I found the language used to be somewhat condescending. I hope that is the last of it.

c’mon guys. Rad’dad didn’t do anything wrong. He never even said anything condescending. Can’t we all just feel happy for him? Or at least not show jealousy?

I mean, i got rejected from Andover too…but I don’t hate on HIM. i hate that i didn’t get in, but i don’t hate him FOR getting in.

So calm down. He’s just happy. Pure happiness doesn’t translate clearly over the web sometimes, especially with these smiley faces: ---->XD

As the FedEx guy said yesterday, I finally got the fedex package today. But it wasn’t as exciting as my first choice Exeter acceptance this morning. I guess the excitement wanes… Well whatever… Still waiting on Deerfield.

collegecookie, please clear your inbox so i can message you

if there isnt a fedex package on the way to my house, but nothing in the mail does that mean anything?

id wait till next week to get the next flood of letters
