Male, 8th grade
Academics: All As except for a B+ in Art last year, I'm interested in math and have taken Geometry last year and will take Algebra 2 this year.

Extracurriculars: State swimming record holder, nominated for state swimmer of the year, ranked top 10 in the nation in 4 events. I've played cello for nearly 4 years.

Standardized Testing: haven't taken SSAT but scored 2080 on SAT, I have aced AMC 8 and got 124.5 on AMC10

Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks :)

I think you are an established swimmer, which is a big plus if you want to be on their swimming team. You may ask the schools about their athletic recruit as well.

I assume you will do well on SSAT, given your SAT scores. Do you have any extracurricular activities such as community service?

They would look at balanced, well-rounded students with academic competence. All the best!

Your stats look great! If your interview goes well and you have good teacher recs, you have a good chance. I would suggest applying to some less selective schools, though. PA and PEA can be unpredictable.

Yeah I volunteer 3 hours a week at a community meal program in Milwaukee
