<p>imho they shot way too many 3s in the second half; you live by the 3, you die by the 3. They were getting calls went they went inside and drove but seemed to be content to miss 3's short. WVU played a heck of a game, though.</p>
<p>it was somewhat expected...better end than last year though, and certainly less disappointing than 2 years ago.</p>
<p>yeah WV kinda owned Duke in this one, and its a shame because now UNC can't beat them in the elite 8.</p>

<p>no i dont think wvu is a better team than duke. duke did indeed choke, and they did this a lot this year against easier teams they should have beaten. it was an upset, duke is a number 2 seed, wv is a number 7 seed. if duke can beat unc and several other great teams, then surely they shouldve beaten wv. they chocked in the 2nd half. period</p>
<p>We only beat UNC without Lawson. We could not beat them at our house when Lawson was playing. I think a number 2 seed was more inertia from past successes than anything else.</p>

<p>9 times out of 10??? No, Duke isn't that good this year. Sorry to break the news, but Duke doesn't have a big man (Singler doesn't count), Henderson and Nelson are not that good, and Paulus is overrated.</p>
<p>Belmont was a foot away from beating Duke and WVU beat them. But Duke is Duke, they will find their recruits and they will bounce back.</p>

However, before the bracket even came out I predicted Duke wouldn't even make it to the sweet 16 despite their inevitable 2 rank. They just never seemed to be able to buck up and win when they really needed it. Very sporadic with their do or die 3s.</p>

<p>I think it's stupid when some of these guys(college athletes) leave school early. The UNC guy who left last year is in the NBDL. Now he has relatively no chance of making it to the NBA.</p>
