Just wondering what my chances are. Hahah, i was denied straight out of high school and than denied for spring semester (which is understandable, cause my first semester grades wouldnt be available). Well im applying again for the third time (for the 09-10 year)(btw, im going to continue to apply. lol by the time i get accepted, they'll have a big file for me), the transcript they receive will only have my first semester grades. Which right now are, Econ- b psych- b physical geography- c math- c and music a, which is a 2.81, but im currently taking another math credit for winter class and aiming to get a A, which brings it to a 3.0 and 19 credits.
I scored 1740 on the sats, have a 3.1 HS gpa average and have ALOT of EC (like 15+). Is this enough or no?

i mean if it helps, ill be willing to take a major thats not popular at GW. Any tips on how to increase the acceptance percentage?

I don't think they go by the times you applied "till they say yes"
if you are interested, call them and go over your application and what went wrong the first time, and second.

well the first time and the second time were the same thing. First time was straight out of high school, they only saw my HS grades and my SAT score, 2nd time was like almost the same case, they saw only my HS grades cause the deadline to get the applications in was way before my semester grades for college were recorded. So they only got to see my HS grades, SAT scores, and a list of classes im taking. The only difference in this case is they'll see my first semester college grade (3.0 19 credits, not spectacular but not TOO bad) and a list of classes im taking for the 2nd semester. What do you guys think?

I think if you come from a college that is a match or superior to GW, then, you are in, but if GW is a reach, you will have extra competition. Good Luck

wow I don't think you gotta a chance here bro..might be slightly ifyou applied EDII.
Dude I am a immigrant who only spoke English for 5 years and I have much better stats than urs lol..not to discourage you, but these are too low...

are transfer applicants even allowed to do ed2.
geez, i dont understand what the whole "immigrant" part had to do with you getting your point across. I found that to be a bit un necessary but hey thanks anyways bruh.

lol it means you need to try harder in school if you want to get into a good school like GWU. If an immigrant of 5 years can get decent grade and SAT scores, why can't you get it too? It is all about effort buddy. Not trying to flame you or anything. But I am pretty nervous that I won't get in with ACT of 28 and GPA of 3.5 unweighted while applied EDII. If you compare my stats to last year's, I am about the 25% percentile.
I really hope you get in since you tried many times already.

GWU Applicant, the bit about 'trying harder' is unnecessary and even rude. You do not know this student's capabilities or the amount of effort in school.

honestly, it sounds like you spent a LOT of time on your ECs and not enough time studying... the only things i can think of to help are to take the SAT's again and bring all your grades (not just Math) at least into the B/B+ range
