<p>Caucasian male living in NY
SAT (re-taking October 14th so really early admission isn't possible):</p>

<p>620 Math; 540 Verbal; 570 Critical Writing - 1160/1600 </p>

<p>Unweighted GPA: haven't got my transcript yet but it's gotta be 92 or 93, give or take a point</p>

<p>Honors/AP Classes:</p>

<p>Math 9 H, Math 10 H, Earth Science H, Biology H, Chemistry H, English 10 H, English 11 H, AP English, AP Government/Economics</p>

<p>Work experience: Held down a pretty good job for a couple months so far</p>

<p>EC's: I'm verrrrry weak here. A little volunteer work, and I was in Science Olympiad and Odyssey of the Mind in 7th grade if that counts.</p>

<p>Weak ECs are OK at PSU. GPA and SAT are what count. Even though your SAT is on the low side, your GPA is good so you have a pretty good shot. Apply before Nov 30.</p>

<p>CJtakos, you are definitely capable of getting in. Like toneranger said, just make sure you apply early. And if you feel like applying to other schools that you think may be a reach for your credentials, do not hesitate. You should apply to all schools that you like--taking in consideration, of course, the class profile, etc--to avoid regretting about it later.</p>
