Another Housing Question!

I just toured OSU and really enjoyed the campus. I might have a group of 4 who I would like to room with, which means the North campus dorms are my only options. Many people have told me the north building is boring and I should definately go to the South side where there is more social life and parties etc.

Any truth to these claims? Thanks

I have heard this as well…I have a friend who is a soph at OSU…his exact words were “north is always dead, even on weekends”, which is fine if that is what you want.

I lived in North during summer quarter, as expected it was dead since the whole campus was empty during the summer. I’m amazed now because whenever I go back there, it seems the exact same as it did during the summer, very empty and boring.

That being said, this year it’s said to be more exciting than previous years since Drackett tower is now a freshmen dorm.
