Apply, but don't be surprised if you have to go to a branch for a year or two. I was accepted into branch campuses, but rejected from main, with very similar GPA and higher SAT 6 years ago. However, I didn't have a legacy which may give you a leg up.

any more insight??

I think that your chances are very low, your SAT scores and your GPA are much lower that the average scores that they accept. Even if you had extraordinary extracurrilars, which it doesn't appear that you have very many activities, this probably couldn't overcome the low scores.

youll get into a branch for sure, dunno about the main campus. theyre *******s about that stuff too

bump??? read that, last post in that article

Bump!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think you've got a 50/50 shot or so, it'll be somewhat hard although I know people that have gotten in with the same or worse. In 2005, here are what 2 kids had...

1070 SAT/2.976 GPA
1060 SAT/2.924 GPA

Not sure on their Recs/essays/work experience/volunteer though so it's hard to say.

was that with a legacy?

so people sya that legacymeans nothing, while people says its allot?i guessi gotta wait it out?

bump??............................

guess no one gives a **** since i posted this like 10000 times
