<p>I was accepted to UCLA but im still waiting on USC which is my top choice. USC sends out their decisions mid may early june. So can i sign my SIR to UCLA just in case if i dont get in to USC? can i cancel my SIR if i do get accepted to USC? will there be any other penalties?</p>

<p>the earlier you return your housing application the better your housing options are I believe. Unless it is done with a lottery system, then assignments are random so it’s al based on luck.</p>
