I'm considering droping my math class and retaking again nxt semester. I did this with my other math class last semester and ended up getting a C. My question is how bad would another W look in the same subject twice--differnt class though. ?

I don't think it will help you but as long as you have a plausible explanation and you don't plan on majoring in mathematics, it should be ok. When you apply as a transfer they usually make you explain your W's and grades below C-. The semester is almost over so if you are truly not content with your projected grade and feel that you can improve a great deal next semester, drop it.

im really a "sunshine sam" though, so i think i could pull a c, depending on my last 2 tests and the final

Anyone else have thoughts?

Bump

10

a W is much better than a C, most ways you look at it....only exceptions for me being the class is required or its absolutely grueling...as in you are not optimistic about your grade the second time around or the workload is too heavy ....other than that i would always take the W

even if its in the same subject matter?

I got the C in summer school, I'm a soph. @ the cc.

looks like I can get a C, so I don't have to drop it! :)
