I have a pair of Kelly & Katie flat dressy sandals that are no longer available; they were similar to these:

These might also work:

I agree that the concept of black tie for a Mexican resort outdoor wedding does not mean the same as, say, a city hotel wedding. And that you should not spend a ton of money for this. Get something that you can dress up for the wedding and dress down for dinners out in the future etc.
A few ideas; apologies if any of these were posted above.

Not sure what size you’d need:
Perhaps a dressy pant suit:

Oh Sooziet, many pretty dresses there. I like the Cheryl one, tho I haven’t looked thru them all
This wedding resembles my son’s. Each had 3 attendants, which included the flower girl and ring bearer. Girls wore dark green dresses of their choice. The 3 men wore gray suits, which went from pale to charcoal. My son gave each man, and himself, a black watch tartan tie (r Lauren?).
What I enjoyed was reading their wedding website. The couple wrote about the 6 attendants, how they met and why they were special. Humorous and sincere
Agree w/Colorado_mom - we were at a wedding recently that said ‘black tie’ - literally only one couple dressed in traditional black tie (the woman had sparkly dress) - everyone else in suits (sometimes just blazers!) and nice (not super fancy) dresses. The thinking was the couple was young and wanted to ensure youngish friends pulled it up a notch and left khakis at home.
I’m thinking you’d still be okay with a mid-length flowy dress (blingless!) and comfortable sandals!
Panhandlegal1 - do you have any favorite clothing colors? Is there something you’d like to accent, figure-wise (or, is there a dress style you generally prefer - like A-line or sheath)?
Let’s keep replies directed to the OPs question only.
I think various wedding related stories can help the OP see the flexibility in weddings these days and might inform her sartorial choices!
I think the question asked was different enough that it deserved its own thread rather than hijacking this one, so I split it off. Perhaps the OP could have received alternative ideas from the responses, but I don’t think I was the only one having difficulty following alone and trying to determine who was responding to whom.
