Anxious HS junior

I’ll be applying to Pitt next year for nursing. I’m already so nervous about it. I believe I’m on the right track. I’m taking all the recommended classes for it plus some other IB’s and AP’s, volunteering, I’m taking SAT classes, and next year I’m doing the CNA program.
Can anyone help me out by posting their stats or any advice that isn’t really on their website?
Anything helps.! This means a lot to me

@jenn214 If you haven’t already attended one of the open houses for nursing, I highly recommend that you do. During the presentation, they post the averages of the last incoming class. For 2014, the average M+ CR SAT was 1321. Good luck!

Visiting campus is a great idea! It helps you get a good feel for the program and you will have an opportunity to talk to Admissions Counselors and current Pitt students. There are a lot of options for visiting, you can get all of the information here: oafa.pitt.edu/visit

I actually attended one of the open houses for nursing a few weeks ago, it was really helpful, but they didn’t really cover too much on admissions.
Is there anything else that I can actively be doing to increase my chances?
And is there a way that I can get in touch with an admissions counselor directly online?

@jenn214, You can contact our office at oafa@pitt.edu or 412-624-7488. Our Admissions Counselors would be happy to assist with any questions you have!
