Any Advice for a Rising Sophomore in 6 AP Classes?

Bio will not be fun. Seriously, prepare to lose sleep over that class. It’s that bad, at least at my school.

I’m sorry, are some of you telling me that you took AP classes in MIDDLE SCHOOL?

^Uh, just one.

I know a lot of history, so I just worked by myself during the class. We had a student-teacher person who worked with me one-on-one [as did my teacher].

That’s so cool! Wish I could’ve done that, but I didn’t even know what an AP class was until this year.

Physics B covers A LOT of topics, good luck with that one…

Er, what do you guys think about these…

Ap Euro
Ap Spanish
Ap Chemistry (full year)
Ap calculus ab/bc (semester each)

I hope they offer Ap government online at my school…I got a 100% in government honors, which is very similar to Ap government.

@Apollo11: Your school is very flexible with APs. At my school, sophomores can only take 2-3 APs, if their schedule allows. I’m only taking AP World next year…

lol i only have four planned for each year

@Apollo11: Are you not taking the gifted classes anymore? I saw the sophomore schedule thread, and you only had 1 or 2 APs, and some of your classes were gifted…is gifted the same as AP at your school?

I think it’s doable. Don’t see why you feel the need to take all of them, but if you like the subjects then congrats. But my school only allows one AP for sophomores, WHAP, which I’m taking, so I may not have the best judgement. I’m thinking that’ll be really hard with EC’s though. Lol, I guess I’m not a typical CC-er.

Btw, they actually call some classes “gifted”? At least honors sounds more like you got into the class as a reward for hard work, not because you’re just so damn amazing lol

^I’m taking AP World next year as well. In elementary school we had a gifted-and-talented program, but after a few years, they changed the name to academic placement or something.

Advice to past self:

Little did you know you’d take more classes and ascend to a god tier level of condescendence.
