Any Annenberg Admittes Still Waiting for Their Trustee/Presidential Letter?

We are still waiting to receive a Scholarship Award letter. Just curious to know if anyone else from the Annenberg School is still waiting as well.

D is international interviewed for presidential. BTY, you know the letter is by DHL or else ?

This must be driving you into even more of a frenzy! I have no advice to offer, just sympathy. I keep checking in here JUST to see if you got your scholarship letter! I am really hoping you get good news soon - post the MINUTE your letter comes!

I sure will alamemom. I honestly don’t get it. I really don’t think it is a possitive sign since most everyone else has seemingly received their letters already. If I don’t receive anything on Monday I guess I need to call admissions.

Thanks.

I still don’t think it is a “bad” sign, because there hasn’t (in the past) been any sort of lag between good news and bad. Maybe it got lost in the mail, or fell behind a desk or… so many (more positive) possibilities! I do think it would be perfectly fine to call and ask - they did say you would hear by the end of March and you have been very patient.

Thanks for the encouraging words alamemom. I guess I’m not as optimistic about the delay, probably because of what happened to my son’s friend who was demoted from Trustee to Director. We’ll it’s out of our hands at this point, so I will give it another mail day and then contact admissions.

Do you think I should call general admissions or Annenberg Admissions or both.

Fight On!

Maybe start with Annenberg - general admissions is most likely swamped with calls from rejected applicants and Spring admits and admitees anxious for fin aid… They are probably at the edge of sanity!

I agree. I’ll call Annenberg on Monday if we don’t get our letter in the mail. Thanks for you advice alamemom!!

Fight On!

My friend is an Annenberg admit and she was just talking about this problem yesterday. I really recommend emailing the financial aid office, they’re super friendly.

Wolftron09, so your friend hasn’t heard either? That gives me a ray of hope that maybe Annenberg is just late with their decisions. Thanks for the information.

Also I think the merit scholarships are all handled by the admissions office, and financial aid only deals with it once it has been awarded. Be sure to tell your friend to contact admissions instead. I’ll be contacting Annenberg if we don’t receive anything by Monday.

Thanks!
