Any AP World History students...

Has anyone received a summer project? Mine was pretty long. Seems like I have to study for the SAT and do this huge packet :/

I know this isn't a real important thing to create a thread about, but I want to see if these summer packets are part of the curriculum (as mandatory).

I was in AP World a few years ago, and we didn’t have any summer projects. The AP board is never going to mandate what students do. They have a curriculum of the type of information that will be on the test, but they don’t make projects for students.

Mine is not hard at all a few questions, label a map and thats it if i remember correctly i should start soon though.

Yeah, I got mine. It’s really easy. I’m almost done, actually. My teacher is making us read up to chapter 6 but I’m on chapter 20 :v It’s mostly maps, questions, and definitions.

You guys have it pretty easy :(

I have 32 mini-paragraphs (margin notes), label a medieval map of europe, make a 4 page-ish work on the primary source.

I have to read about 21 pages of Medieval Europe.

we had to read ‘Things Fall Apart’ and write a paper on it (3 pages, double-space)

I might have to take notes i gotta check.
