Any applicants received MERIT scholarship in the past who WERE NOT in Honors Pgm?

<p>Just curious if you know anyone who were granted a MERIT SCHOLARSHIP who were not in the Honors Pgm? My D was invited in CP Scholars and was wondering if she has a chance in getting any form of MERIT SCHOLARSHIP (not the Bannerker/Key, but other MERIT like Dean's, Departmental, etc.)</p>

<p>By reading some of the threads, it seems that most recipients of BANNEKER/KEY scholarships were from the pool of applicants who were invited in the Honors Pgm.</p>

<p>I just want to know the chances of CP Scholars for any MERIT S. Like everybody else, we are too hoping for some help. We are in state by the way.</p>

<p>I know of at least 2 kids who are CP Scholars who got notice of President’s merit scholarship yesterday (in-state, close to CP). I think the only merit scholarship that is limited to Honors Program admits is the Banneker/Key. I don’t think the departmental scholarship notifications have been made yet for this year, but I am not sure. Hope this helps.</p>

<p>I did not get into honors but I got 2,000 per year 8k total. I got into CIVICUS L and L tho.</p>

<p>I got into scholars but I got presidential for 5k$ a year for 4 years.</p>
