regarding test scores, Vandy's average is NOT in the 1500s and the GPAs don't have to be 4.6's. The average is much lower.

If you have above stats, you could get merit-based scholarship to Vandy.

I think because the people on this post really care, they tend to be better students, citing off better test scores. but "average" for Vanderbilt is 1320 or 1350 ? something in there.

I also think it's quite crazy if you have two 800s on SAT IIs and think that is only "average"

hey! I'm an Average Student! Wanna hear my stats?

Well I have a below Average GPA (3.8 W)
I don't know about my SATs (2070 with 720 M 640 CR 710 W)
or my SAT IIs (800 IIC and a 670 Bio) but SAT IIs.

I have 1 C and like 10 B's if that makes you feel any better.

mister marbles, how did you get a perfect score on the math sat II and a 720 on math sat 1? I'm not being critical, it's just kind of cool and strange... I bet you could have gotten a much higher score if you had taken the sat 1 again.

If by average, you mean by "CC's standards," then I'm an average student! 2100 SAT, sat ii's in the 600's, a few nice EC's and leaderships wrap the whole deal together :)

yea i am really surprised you did so well on SAT IIC and not on SAT I Math.

You know, there are alot of people on all these CC blogs with perfect 800s on SAT IIs. shows you the competition in the world i guess

I am totally average, none of this 800 business.

GPA-3.8(w) competitive private school
SAT I- 1990 (740 M 630 CR 620 W)
SAT II's-770 IIC 700 IC 590 Lit
Good EC's and REC Letters

I am really hoping I get in, I got straight up denied from Duke early but I guess from my stats you can see why.
