Any Chance at Wesleyan? (Looking for Computer Science)

Hey guys, I was considering applying here. Some of my friends attended Wesleyan and say they could not have imagined themselves going anywhere else. What do you think my chances are?

I am a hispanic male from New York.

GPA: 3.4 unweighted.
-My highschool is one of the most vigorous in the nation, in the top 100 for most prestigious public and private high schools (I go to a public school). So grade inflation is completely non existent, I can't stress this enough. Our valedictorian (out of 1500 students) has a 3.9 My school doesn't rank students, but I would guess top 25% if I had to.

SAT: 2050 - 650 R - 800 M - 600 W

SAT 2: Math 1: 720 - US History: 770 - Biology: 690

ACT: 31 Composite

I have taken 4 APs during my high school career:
AP Comp Sci AB
AP European History
AP American History
AP Biology

Extra Curriculars:
-National Hispanic Scholar Award (Honorable Mention)
-Assistant teacher in my school's intro to computer science class. I am currently the only student in my school (and district) to be doing a teaching role like this.
-Varsity Football
-Various overseas voulenteer works. ~100 hours

I also have very strong recommendations, especially from my computer science teacher. Who recieved two masters from Carnegie Mellon. He basically feels i am one of the most ambitious students he has ever come accross (at least in the field of computer science)

I think it’s a reach for you, but they use holistic admissions so you definitely have a shot. Improve your SATs and you will have a better chance, I think.

I think you have a very good chance! These CC people have outrageous stats and are enough to frighten anyone away from selective schools. You can’t be accepted if you don’t apply. Go for it, and good luck!
