Sarah you should have zero problems getting into all schools as an Arabic major, or even comp lit.

yeah smart choice on the Comp lit… some one pointed me out the stats and they are pretty good.

wooooot
comp lit to ucb/ucla. trilingual speaker
finals aren’t over yet (one more week to go) but I think I’ll most likely pull off a 4.0. 3.8 at the lowest.

…buuuut I’m a one-year non-CC transfer so I don’t know if I will get in :(

Shoot I only know one language fluently. Don’t matter though because I’m an English major who happened to apply as a comp lit major to get into the top schools. After a quarter or two I’ll switch majors. It’s not like it will be hard considering that the pre-reqs are virtually the same, and they are in the same department. A UCLA counselor of 20 years experience literally told me that you could easily transfer into English once you get in. She even said “they tell all counselors not to tell you guys, but…” and then proceeded to let us in on the backdoor policy. She said there are only a few majors where it is impossible to transfer into (the most impacted) but other than that, it’s relatively easy.

and ads one more to the pool of us who are actually interested in comp lit…
