The 15th of Jan or Feb?

They had a glitch with their letters. Apparently they went out yesterday instead. I did hear about my son though and I think he is in.

What was the glitch? Still no word. I thought we were supposed to hear by 1/15?????

1/15 if you applied prior to 11/15. Then they said the letters went out on 1/22. I happened to call because my daughter goes there and I've participated in a few admissions events, so they gave me the info. We still have not gotten the letter yet though.

D is in! Just came today. Acceptance came in a large white folder style envelope.

Roshke, Congratulations to your D. My D is in too.

Congrats to your D as well applicantmum!

My son got his letter yesterday, even though he knew Wednesday. I hope the financial stuff comes soon. I am leaning for him to go to Goucher because it would be so convenient to have both kids at the same school, but he has to do what's best for him. Are your kids planning to go for sure?

Congrats to your son too Curlygirl! I assume your other child loves Goucher. My daughters only concern is she has heard there is not enough to do on the weekends. What do you thinK? Otherwise she thinks it's a good fit.

My daughter runs xc and track, so she usually has meets on Saturday so that takes up a lot of her time, but she has never complained about not having enough to do. Between schoolwork, sports and her work study job she is pretty busy.

Like any school, there is a lot of partying that goes on and other activities, I don't think you can get away from that. Typically they either go to a party or go to Towson. I know freshman year, the girls on her floor would have a lot of dress up parties and order in food , sushi and stuff and just kinda hang out and dance. Freshman year is unique as her floor with alot of kids from her connections class. She is not really friendly with her freshman year friends any more though.

What does your daughter like to do? Is she a dancer? Sports? What is she comparing for schools? I think Goucher has as most others we have looked at, although some of the schools that are more in the middle or nowhere probably have more things like on campus movies etc.

My son received his acceptance letter the other day.

I haven't heard back yet and I applied EA. Has anyone else not heard back yet? Should I call the school?

When did you send your app? The notification date is 2/15 unless you sent it in before 11/15. If yous ent it prior to 11/15 I'd give a call.

I did not know that about the 11/15 deadline. I applied on 11/19 because I thought I just had to get it in by 12/1. If I had known I would have made sure I did it sooner.

Well, you will hear by 2/15 I think. My son had received a letter that stated if he got it in by 11/15, they would notify by 1/15.

Is there anyone else that still hasn't heard? I haven't.

My daughter applied sometime between Nov. 15 and Dec. 1 for EA and she hasn't heard yet.

I know someone who applied on Nov. 13th and hasn't heard yet.
