There are some straight up dumb kids in IB at RM though

That's so cool! I was born in Rockville, Maryland in Montgomery County! Is that close to your school? And my dad went to CP!

btw, what rankings are you going by iolllloi?

haah whoaa the MD crew. r u guys still in rockville

Yeah, Richard Montgomery is in Rockville. I live in Rockville right now, right off of 355. :)

I don't live in Rockville anymore. I moved to Texas when I was 4 and a half (don't remember Rockville too much sadly) and now I live in Michigan.

I'm so excited to meet people from my hometown!

btw, do you guys know a girl names Joyce who graduated last year, freshman at UPenn this year?

Yeah, I know of her. She went to my school last year. Asian-American?

"Did any of the colleges in the U.S. that you applied to ask for your predicted scores? I don't recall any of them asking..."

Nah, if you refer back to my joke:

6 IB Tests ... $250
Two semesters of TOK ... Your Common Sense
One Extended Essay ... One Frantic Night
History HL ... 4 Hours Sleep/Night
Realizing Your College Prefers AP ... PRICELESS

I live in NJ, I feel like there is probably no more than 10 IB schools in this state (point me out if I'm wrong)

"College in the US don't really care what your IB scores are...see the rigor of your curiculum and the grades you received in those classes."

Yeah, that's pretty accurate...

Joyce...if shes a short asian girl....then I do know her.

Infact, I sat right behind her in AP econ

Richard Montgomery is #37

haha rockville crew in here...this is weird

Me and Welsh are twin brothers =

"College in the US don't really care what your IB scores are. " - oh i think thats actually not true.
the columbia lady at the visitors centre told me that the IB is very highly regarded...

It's highly regarded, but they won't know the results of your IB scores until they have already made their admissions decisions. I don't even think we find out until we are already in college...

we find out IB results in june/july 2005.

well from my school.. the predicted grades that go to uni is considered very important..
at the end of the day, your grades now have to be good.. just the same as any other course that people do (like APs or whatever).
but if your predicteds are good, it shows the unis that your school/teachers have high expectations and they are basically saying that you have good potential..
i guess grading etc. differs from one IB school to another..

o so exciting! You guys know Joyce! Yes, that's the one I was referring to. What are your names, if you don't mind posting? Otherwise she'll be very confused when I tell her about this, haha
