Any idea how to get a full ride at TCNJ?

I have straight As in the hardest classes and do band and track. Any suggestions, and is TCNJ a college that gives full rides?

Not trying to be sarcastic but I think that being a minority would help. schools like tcnj aren’t really known for giving full rides, especially since it already has high standards, which means everyone going there does amazingly well in school, making it harder for applicants to stick out and earn full rides.

Another options is the NJSTARS program, but you probably already knew that and don’t plan on going to community college.

im asian, that counts right?

Asian is the wrong minority.

haha, bluntly put, but when it comes to college admissions, very very true.

…besides minority, what other factors may help?

Um, not really. It’s literally like I said. Typically they give out scholarships at 6500. Some one on the website got this and called the school and some one literally told him that’s the most he could get as a white male.

Whereas I’m a black female with an okay SAT score (1720) and they gave me 7000. But I’m also salutatorian and president of NHS at my school. (well “was” seeing as I graduated today). But tcnj is a hard place to get a full ride. You have to stand out, but everyone stands out there. Like I said. I’m not trying to call myself a expert, but I’ve been doing this college reseach thing before my junior year. And now I’m going to my top choice (private school) and only paying a third of the cost.

Have tried looking in the tcnj thread on this website. I think people have posted what type of scholarships they have won there so you may be able to find out more information. ;)
