Hi guys,
I was wondering if I could potentially get a "full ride" or the full tuition scholarship at rutgers with my stats. I have heard that you need above a 2300 on the sat but I have exactly a 2300 and my GPA is not AMAZING but it's pretty good.

SAT(superscore): 2300 (CR 730 M 800 W 770)
GPA: 4.25 weighted

Do you think I would be considered for the full scholarship to rutgers?

Thanks!

I’m going to say no because RU really isn’t very generous at all, but I could be wrong! Nice job, though!

thanks for replying! yeah, i’ve heard that rutgers has gotten less generous over the years haha

No problem! I got a 1970 on my SAT and I have a 4.2 GPA. They’re not outstanding stats by any means, but while RU gave me nothing, all my other schools gave me something. Apparently they only give scholarships to people with an SAT of 2200+. So you’ll probably get something! I don’t know how much though.

The minimum SAT for Presidential Scholarship consideration is a 2250, but I know people who have gotten it with lower scores and other people who have not gotten it with higher scores. It’s definitely possible for you to get it.

yay! Rutgers is definitely not my first choice, but if I get substantial aid, I may consider going there. Marbiovet, I guess rutgers just has less money to give out compared to other schools, which may be why you didn’t get anything from them, but you did from other schools. Rhetorical13, thanks for replying, and yes, I hope that’s true! Maybe it’s all down to other factors.
