I just read “Satisfactory Academic Progress” which is a 2.0 and some other requirements (basically progressing toward a degree). I think you can find it through a link from DU’s financial aid (or Bursar’s) web page.

My S got a Provost’s too. We just put in our deposit last night! I wish this forum were more active.

Just checked, it is under Financial Aid, Grants & Scholarships, Institutional Aid. GPA is 2.0, or 2.5 for accounting majors. Also, you have to pass 80% of your classes, and a few other things. You can also call or e-mail the FA office, they are very nice! I had a question about FA, emailed, and they called me back.

Sweetbeat, congratulations! DU is great. We’re going to visit our son at DU again later this month.
We found DU’s financial aid office and admissions office to be very helpful whenever we had questions prior to sending in our son’s deposit a year ago, and after he was enrolled. We almost always got a response within 24 hours.

My daughter hasn’t yet made a final decision but if we can figure out how to afford DU she will attend there this fall-- and we’ve had similar experiences with admissions. She got a phone call within an hour of an email she sent to her regional admissions rep last night. She’s had similar responsiveness with departments she has contacted. It’s really impressive.

Well, my daughter made her decision today between DU and Elon University. She picked DU to the delight of her family. She had a tough decision, but in the end, we feel like she made the right decision.
