Hey everyone.

I'm trying to get into Michigan (I also live in Michigan). For some brief backround, my grade point is a 3.92 with lots of honors and a couple AP's. have loads of extra-curriculars, a few varsity sports, top trumpet player at my school and multiple counties, and student council junk and what not.

I'm hoping for a 28+ ACT. I took the Michigan State-Require ACT and only got a 26. I got a 28 English, 23 Math, 28 Reading, 24 Science, 10 Essay. It's kind of discouraging because when I took tests out of my PR books, I always got 30+ in English in reading, and around a 25 in math and science. So, my strategy for the ACT was perfect English and Reading to compensate for low Math and Science scores. Apparently that didn't work out too well. I don't know why I did worse on both sections either. It was pretty easy, and I wasn't really stressed at all.

How can I get that math up? I got almost all geometry/trig questions right, but my algebra sucked. What about science? I keep taking practice tests and I always get a 24-25. It's strange because Math and Science are my best subjects in school, but on the ACT I'm better on English and Reading.

So overall, what can I do to try to hit that 28 mark? Thanks SO much in advance.
