Please, if ANY international student who asked for FinAid got into UofC & Duke, please do me the favor of posting your stats, since I am a Junior depressed about the fact that admission for int'ls w/ FinAid is MUCH harder.
Thank you!

PS: Please post your SAT/ACT scores, geographic residence, GPA, AP/IB classes and scores. Thank you again

PPS: I posted this same thread on the UofC & Duke Forum

Well, I got waitlisted from U of C and I applied for FinAid so I don't know if you're interested. Here's a short version of my stats anyway:
SAT: I- 2250, II- 800, 800, 790, 750
GPA: 3.96 UW
I took 9 AP classes, and 11 AP tests, including this year. I got 5's on all my AP tests so far except for one.
I actually go to high school in the US (California) but I'm an international student.

Good luck! I'm still disappointed by U of C's decision but yeah, it definitely is a lot harder because of the FinAid.

I don't know about Duke, but U of C certainly shouldn't be the first choice for internationals with fin need. Let's just face it - they have very limited money for internationals. I also asked for a full ride and got a rejection and now I blame myself for wasting my time on it while I could pay more attention to smaller schools that seek diversity, are not so super-competitive and give more aid. Well, I'm still waiting for some decisions, so we'll see what I have..

felicidades argg! Vos vas a Lincoln school/Belgrano Day school?

Grrrrrrr.... this whole deal about shunning poor int'ls as second-class-humans at top unis like UChicago and Duke(with more money than oxford or cambridge PUT TOGETHER) just ticks me off...
