Any Internationals asking for FinAid who got in?

<p>Three years ago S1 applied ed to williams and accepted with full FA.
This year S2 applied Williams ed and deferred.
S2 was accpeted to Middlebury (RD) with full FA and is waiting for Williams Decision.
S2 Stats:
Sat 1 2330 (V 770, M 800, WR 760)
Sat 2 2310 (USH 780, MIIC 780, BIO 770)
GPA 3. 97 (UW)
RANK TOP 3 % in a very competitive public high school in Texas.
ECS: First Place in DEbose Piano Competition ('06 and ' 07)
Deca state finalist ('08)</p>

<p>It has been so painful for an international family asking full FA to wait for the RD decision.</p>

<p>Well I was accepted by Duke (last year) but WITHOUT fin. aid. But I got accepted in like 9 universities with aid ranging from 9k to 25k per year.
I think getting into Duke with aid is kinda hard.. I got an email from them like 1 week before decisions were out asking me whether I was aplying or not for fin. aid.. I said NO.. cuz of course I knew what it meant!! hahaha</p>

<p>And even though I'll have to take a loan, I chose Duke over all the colleges I got into.</p>

<p>BTW, I come from Peru!!</p>

<p>Yeah, I am accepted by Wesleyan and Colgate, respectively with $51000 and $48,000 scholarship.</p>

<p>my friend got accepted into some Libral Arts College (she say it's the best woman's LAC, but I have no idea about those) with around 90% aid. as for me... didn't apply for aid at all.</p>

<p>2 ppl from my school got into Princeton and 1 to yale. All 3 of em are being given 48-53k/ year aid</p>
