I’m currently on the waitllist for Virginia Tech and I am a bit curious to how many people got accepted/rejected or put on the waitlist.

Based on link above “Virginia Tech Wait List FAQ” it appears around 3,500 Wait List offers. What you do not know is how many will accept to stay on the wait list nor how many / if any Va Tech will pull from the wait list with acceptance offers.
