For all Bruins, you should have gotten some sort of letter saying that the bed-sheets for the dorms are different sizes from normal ones... Did you guys order any from these guys? I don't know if they're legit or not.... or if its even a good deal.

Don’t buy from that, from what I hear, it’s really low quality (that is, if you actually receive the items). I think it’s some company that just pays the school to use the logo.

If you want bed sheets, buy them from Target or something, they’re much cheaper, and as far as I know, better quality too. Just look for XL twin aka 80inches long.
[Back to College : Home : Target](http://www.target.com/Back-College-Home/b?ie=UTF8&node=13035431)

(I actually bought my bed sheets from Bed, Bath & Beyond… Ah… they’re so nice…)

^ sweet… thanks for that info!

If you mean Residence Hall Linens…
Stay. Away.
And read these threads about it:

Garbage.

As for the actual UCLA Store in Ackerman, you’ll be suckered into buying overpriced UCLA merchandise soon enough.

ehhhhh
i ordered the stuff, and to me, it looks completely fine.
then again, i only got it cuz i thought it was an easy way to get all my dorm stuff to match.

i liked it, some people don’t like it. so idk

check out costco for linen stuff. i got a kit that had a laundry hamper, xl sheet set, xl blanket, xl quilt, and a set of towels for $60

The stuff may look fine, but has low durability (colors bleed, can’t take many washes, etc.).

Just go to Target or BB&B.

I priced things a la carte from Bed Bath and Beyond, and the catalog prices were only a little bit cheaper.

^ Quality makes the difference. Though if you want inexpensive items, try Target.

My mom bought from that, but the items weren’t horrible or anything. I’m a third year now and everything is still in good condition. However, I suggest avoiding it because it’s freaking expensive.

DO NOT BUY THE STUPID BEDSHEETS. I thought the dorm beds were some custom size, so I just got them. The quality sucks, and the price is unreasonable.

Got it. Mods can close thread.

As for buying UCLA merchandise from the store at Ackerman Union, wait until school starts and they do a sale!

what kind of mom would allow their kids to buy the catalog sheets? i didnt know much but my mom easily knew it was a ripoff + scam.

Same question for why people would buy books from the UCLA store when they can look up books online and get them for cheaper.

I think people have money to throw around …
