UCLA bedding

did any freshmen get the catalog for buying a bed in a bag from the ucla store? i cant seem to find the url online...

nevermind its

http://www.uparents.com/linens/ucl/linens.aspx

for anyone looking

Those aren't sold by the ucla store, they just pay ucla a certain amount so they can use the ucla logo (they also pay a ton of other universities so they could also use their logo and get their mailing list). The quality of their bedsheet is terrible for the price you pay. You can get vastly better quality products at cheaper prices just about anywhere else (ie bed bath and beyond, jc penny, heck even target is better).

Wow... What a rip-off...

are you serious about the quality being bad?

cause i was planning to order my sheets off the catalog!

I'm dead serious. Its a huge ripoff now that I actually clicked on the link. Their value "paks" are filled with a ton of junk you don't need to try to justify their expensive packages, the comforter is thin, and the color choices are horrendous.

any merchandise peddled by universities = expensive crap

wow...well, thanks for the info.

i think the only thing i'm going to buy off that catalog is the extra long mattress pad...i'm assuming that's hard to find in other stores? or is there a better place where you bought yours from? and while we're at it, where do you think i should order sheets from?

You can find the extra long mattress pad just about anywhere that sells regular mattress pads. I got mine from bed bath and beyond, but I've seen them even in target and mervyns. Same for sheets

my god you're quick

ok, that's good to know. thank you!

... and you're right about those paks, useless **** in most of them.

Bought 2 sets XL twin sheets set at Mervyn's at $12.99 ea. sale price. August is when most stores have the back to school sale.
