Any one thinking about transferring to Wash U?

Lately, I see all kinds of posts for other schools, but I haven't really seen anything or anyone that's really interested in Wash U. Did anyone apply/get accepted/is interested in Wash U? I've been admitted and visited it (I think that I want to go there, but I'm still waiting to hear from Tufts/Cornell and need to visit the College of William and Mary), and I liked it a lot. I'm slightly worried that the biology department (I want to be a biology and music double major) is cutthroat, even though it is an amazing program. Can anyone weigh in some information about Wash U?

I'm considering WashU if I don't get into any of my top 3 choices: UVA, Michigan, and Penn.

I was accepted on condition to Olin. Olin has a calc requirement for transfers, and I have Calc II this semster. The condition for my acceptance was at least a B in the class. I think I have an A- right now. So I'd have to do very poorly on my final (like a D) not to meet that condition. If I don't get into UVA, Michigan, or Penn, then I'm also considering NYU and UNC (both of which of I've been accepted to).

I too was accepted to WashU. I am awaiting word on UVa unitl I make my final decision. I think I got lucky by getting into WashU after seeing some of the stats on this forum.

I haven't heard back from Wash U but I was waitlsited so I'm not worried. An admin officer last year told me that if you get waitlisted and make like a 3.5 you're basically a sure thing.

I'm not sure I'd want to go there. Its not my top choice at least. Mostly the greek/preppy thing. Acutally, entirely the greek/preppy thing.
