Exactly! I keep watching the trio and JKR’s speech at the London premiere and I just can’t stop crying! Haha.

And oh my god! There are bands like Harry and the Potters, Oliver Boyd and the Remembralls, Draco and the Malfoys, The Womping Willows, and The Remus Lupins. They all sing about Harry Potter, usually in terrible voices because they are just fans. But my favorites are The End of an Era by Oliver Boyd and the Remembrals (so sad!) and I Couldn’t Kill Albus Dumbledore by Draco and the Malfoys (hysterical!!).

I was dieing to see the final premiere since I waited in line for over 12 hours for the last one. But then I got tickets to see Eddie Vedder live so I had to ditch. Can’t wait to see it though.

Oh, and I am a die hard fan of the books. I like the movies, but the books are so fantastic. <3

Oh, and also, I went with a group of about 18 people. We took up the whole entire back row of the theater. We were also the first group there. We played Apples to Apples and Harry Potter Trivia while waiting. I.Love.My.Friends. <3

I definitely feel like I’ve grown up with Harry potter and I’ll be missing the entire series because it really has symbolized the end of my childhood. Anyone hoping for movie remakes in 30-40 years? And do you think the series will last throughout generations (well a few anyway)

Movie remakes? I’m scared they won’t be as good…and I’ll be an old angry person yelling in the theatre disrupting all the kids trying to enjoy the “vintage remake” of the Harry Potter that I know and love :D

The midnight premiere at theater in my town was great. I had to wait in line for about an hour. Not many people dressed up (including me). One girl had a scarf and I wished I had it. Inside we got the 3D Harry Potter glasses, which I kept. then the manager did trivia( never called on me), passed out free things, and did a contest for who dressed up most. This little 10 year old looked like a mini potter. It was great. The movie was the absolute best of them all. I read all the books in like April so I had an attachment to the movies more than the books. The movies helped put things into perspective while the books helped with describing and more backstory. I wish it wasn’t over but I accept it. It gets me sad but not like many of you. I haven’t seen JK Rowlings farewell speech but I’m going to after this. Basically Farewell Potter, may we meet again.

I want it to be known, I risked my life twice for the Harry Potter premeire, once on the way driving to work at 7 am (after 4 horus of sleep) and once on the way back
Totally worth it.

I went in costume. My friend dressed up as Dobby!
My favorite part was when Snape gave Harry his memories, and then seeing the ones with Lily. Harry never realized why Snape acted the way he did around him because he, Harry, reminded Snape of Lily, whom he loved, and James, whom he hated.
I see now why he taught potions. It was Lily’s best subject.
