in the erc doubles,
are the wardrobes the same size? do they have drawer chests inside them? are there drawers underneath the bed?

EDIT: btw thanks swirlie for the transit advice! what kind of grocery stores are easily accessible in the area? I especially would like a place that gives some kind of discount and offers a good variety of fresh fruits and vegetables. thanks!

If my classes are back to back, should I be worried about being able to find a good seat since I’ll only be able to arrive a couple minutes before class starts?

Also, has anyone taken tdge1 introduction to theater? What did you think of it?

Does anyone know when all the freshman seminar times will be up? I want to take a particular seminar but it hasn’t been given a day/time.

^Most of the time, there’s plenty of seats in the front of the class, so you’ll be fine.

It depends on the building. For Stewart, it’s 5 suites for floors 1, 2, and 3. 3 suites for floor 4 and 2 suites for floor 5. I don’t remember for the other buildings, but it’s something similar to that.

So I’m going to be taking Math 20B in the fall and would love some feedback on which professors are good. The choices are Dong, Lifschitz, Shirazi, and Ohsawa. Has anybody had any experience with any of them? Thanks!

what happens if you are not enrolled in 12 units by the day bills are due but are eventually enrolled in 12 units? do you get all your financial aid then, like are you refunded once you show that you are enrolled in at least 12 units?

@92faim yes, yes, and no. I stayed in erc doubles for orientation (: if you want to have storage under your bed, you should bring your own containers.

This might be a dumb question, but what does it mean in the Schedule of Planners when a the professor is listed as “Staff?”
more specifically, the class is math 20B.

I have a question about Making of the Modern World. Since it’s a GE requirement for ERC and is located there, the discussions are close as well right? Because the discussion time i want to pick starts really shortly after the lecture. i want to make sure i have time to get there.

Alright I we said we’d take the chem placement test before we enrolled and we were also told to take the placement test for computer science, do we have to? Because I already know what CSE class I’m taking and I’m not taking a Chem class this quarter so will they actually care or find out if I don’t take those online placement tests?

Is there a way to forward all the e-mails I receive on my @ucsd.edu address to another e-mail acct (like gmail), so I don’t have to check two different e-mails every time? (I guess I could forward all my gmails to ucsd.edu, but I like gmail)

What happens to our @ucsd.edu address after we graduate? Do we maintain access or do we lose the account and need to save all our important conversations somewhere else?

I also noticed there was an option to “spoof” our address/name when sending out emails oO
I tried typing in slkdfjlk@ksjdflf.com as my address and sent an e-mail to my gmail.
My gmail receives it from slkdfjlk@ksjdflf.com with no trace of my @ucsd.edu email address.
Strange stuff offered with our account…

Is it worth risking an open chem6a class for a waitlisted one that’s earlier in the day? What are my chances of getting into the waitlist one? It says I’ll be #6 on the waitlist and there are 30 total seats in the class.
