any RD applicant got Likely letter ?

do internationals get one? just wondering thanx

^ I doubt it. No one I know has gotten one.

So now in theory the only wave left is the third wave? And wouldn't that mean that they have pretty much looked through every application?

Nope, the second wave is this Tuesday or Thursday, then the third wave is two weeks from then.

Arriving on Tuesday/Thursday or being mailed out on those dates?

Being mailed out methinks.

Just curious Arch3r, how did you get that information?
By the way, congrats on your (first-wave) likely letter!

The letters will go out in three waves — early February, mid-February and early March — as the applications are processed and read.

Elsewhere I read two week gaps in between each wave.

Assuming that the last wave was sent out on February 10th or 12th (too lazy to check), that means this coming Tuesday or Thursday.

Thanks.
At least I know not to expect any mail from Dartmouth next week then :P

creo que nosotros vamos a tener una likely letter ;)

Jaja, hola otra vez BigWeight!

Or Saturday/Monday. I live in New Hampshire and got it on a Friday.

es verdad danr74.

y no te preocupes ChandlerBing, que todo va a salir bien :)

i applied ed and got deferred. has anyone deferred ed gotten a likely letter? i would think that they wouldn't send them out to ed deferred applicants since they dont need to be recruited since dartmouth was there top choice in november

people who get likelies are the absolute top applicants who they expect will be getting offers from hyp and the likes...its not likely that someone who got deferred ed would be at the top of the rd applicant pool. not that you cant still get in though, as most people who get accepted never get a likely. good luck

i got one! and can finally relax....

this is awesome.

to those who didn't get one, my dad went to dartmouth. so perhaps it only goes to applicants with "hooks"... i even got deferred by yale, so i'm definitely thinking legacy was the deciding factor.

good luck to all!

^ did you just get it today?

Woo, I got one on my birthday! How nice. Also, I'm not hooked. But I am awesome :D

firey, it's hard to say. I know a kid last year who was a legacy. He got into both H and P, and was waitlisted by D.
