Any +s for the state applicant?

I'm an international student, but study in a private day
school in Massachusetts.
I live right besides Harvard, and commute through the Red-line
Harvard Station everyday.

One day, I saw that 20% of Harvard Freshmen are from MA.

Although I am an international, would I still get any +s for my being in MA?

Then how much impact would it have on my chances? (SCEA)

Thank you...

It's not harder to get in from one region than another. I don't think the number is 20% of freshmen... that's a huge percentage. There's approximately 950 students here from MA in the whole college, which works out to being about 14%. I don't know where you got that number.

No.

Who knows? Again, in the end, in order to be accepted, 35 admissions officers will be analyzing and nit-picking your file.

Happy Birthday xjayz!

If you take classes at Harvard as a High Schooler than you would but otherwise, it won't really matter, or maybe even end up hurting you if every decent applicant in the state of Mass applies to harvard. Think texas and rice.

Thank you justforgetme! I'm leaving on Saturday - but you're leaving the Saturday after that. PSHAW.
