I recently got my AP scores back and I am fairly happy with them! On one exam, AP Lang, I scored a four when I was consistently predicted a five. I know that the margin between a four and a five can be very small, but I feel as though I came out a five. Many kids always say that, but I typically predict my scores really well and don’t usually feel I am a five when I am not (Calc BC, Physics, US Gov) On the exam, I had around three questions that I know I got wrong & I starred a few more that I was unsure about. (I know I could have missed more but these are just the ones I remember being skeptical about) The argument essay was definitely my weakest, but my rhetorical and synthesis I felt were very strong. I consistently scored 85% and above on MC and 7s or 8s on FRQ throughout the year. My teacher is amazing and has an unbelievably high pass rate - he also works for the college board and suggested a rescore. I have figured out the fees and how to handle that, but have you heard of any success stories where a rescore resulted in a 4 changing to a 5? (I am very thankful I passed, and I know a four is good! This is more for my peace of mind) All help is appreciated!
No. Never.
A 4 is a very god score. You likely earned a 4. Let it go.
