<p>thanks toudoucement.. it sucks. i was so confident after talking to admissions and them looking at my credentials and saying that i had nothing to worry about. it cant be the credit situation cause my best friend goes to a CC in new york, she only took two classes in teh fall and is currently taking two classes right now. she got in with a 3.6. i have 20 credits from my fall semester alone..by the end of spring ill have 36 completley credits. i have a 3.87 GPA, deans list and was offered a palce in the Phi Theta Kappa honor society. got great recommendations and wrote a powerful essay... so im just really confused as to where i went wrong. i just dont see it, especially hearing that other people that go to my college who were less qualified got accepted. i dont know. what i do know is that theres a very slim chance of getting accepted off of the waiting list. this also means i have to wait till early august for a reply. i could throw up right now.</p>
<p>Since you are still a freshman, it is possible that, because the competition is so tight, they took your SATs into consideration.</p>

Fight it, send them a letter or fax or something explaining why you think they should reconsider you.</p>

<p>i was just telling someone this here's a timeline i kinda have on 3/28 updated no decision 4/03 updated no decision 4/04 updated no decision then 4/07 updated decision i made phone calls in between so that might have helped me out a bit best of luck to you backtothestars.</p>

<p>And wow.. my page hasn't been updated since 2/28. Then again, I emailed them not too long ago because they hadn't updated my page in like two months and I wanted to know if they had received my transcripts.</p>

<p>hey when i called i kinda just asked them about my status and such on the app basic stuff.</p>
<p>That's what I just did. :) The lady on the phone was really nice, but all she could tell me was that my application was complete and that I should hear by the priority notification date. </p>

<p>I called the advisor at the business school and she told me not alot of my credits will transfer. Then she told me after I get accepted to SAS(pending) then I have to apply again to the business school. Unfortunately, i was unaware of their SAT policy untill this past semester. I didnt apply as a hs student because my GPA was a 3.874 but my SATs were low. Now that i have a decent college GPA, I've come to find out that I will be losing an entire year of coursework. I guess it comes down to sacrificing your hard work for a school with an excellent reputation. Bear in mind, I haven't been accepted yet but this is quite a hurdle to overcome.</p>
