ahhh!!! omg thebrokenlight, i know how that feels... ive had that happen to me like 5 times already... i get all excited about the big envelopes, but when i get a closer look, its not what i had hoped... :(

nothing today (monday) either... AGH i hope they send it sometime this week!

My daughter is also on the Brown waitlist... waiting... Is she supposed to hope for a call... or the big envelope? I thought the call came first. What are we all hoping for? Brown admissions says..."the letters are being mailed out this week"... but nothing about a call.. who knows!

mine didnt come
hopefully on monday
well sprtsweety
JHU is still an awesome school
im sure you'll love it there =)
brokenlight,
i know what you mean...
i just really want the waiting to be over
either good or bad

sprtsweety, at least you dont have to check your mail box anymore, enjoy your days in JHU
i am thinking about transfer, this torturous will be started all over again for me.
i was wondering where have all those big letters gone.

sprtsweety, I know you're probably disappointed about the rejection from Brown but actually in my own experience I have seen that Brown and JHU are oddly enough very similar. Since April I was torn between going to JHU or to Brown and after massively researching both schools and talking to current students I saw that from curriculum structure (both schools have an open curriculum) to strong academic programs (both have strong IR and biology/neuroscience programs), they share many similar qualities. So don't go into Hopkins with your mind on transferring because if you have that mentality you won't enjoy your time there and realize that JHU isn't as different as the school you wanted to go to.
