Yes! Definitely post if you receive something! Tomorrow is the final deadline for everyone! Does anyone know if they post news or stuff like that if they are going to use the waiting list?</p>
<p>My son’s admission counselor said if they use the wait list, people would know by mid-May. For a school that hasn’t used it in two years, I wouldn’t hold my breath. I’m encouraging Plan B- Grad school at Brown. </p>
<p>@2016BarnardMom that’s exactly what I said to my parents! If it isn’t now, I will be definitely doing grad at Brown… :)</p>
<p>Last year they on May 9th they wrote that they would take only ‘a handful’. So they have an idea by now. Last year they did not offer any acceptences for Class of 2017 from the waitlist but they asked some students if they would join class of 2018</p>
<p>Last year’s yield was 60%, a near record high. Any word yet on this year’s yield? The number of acceptances vs. the number of openings anticipates a yield of 59.5%. Below that, some Brown may go to the waitlist.</p>
<p>@LoremIpsum nope haven’t heard anything yet… maybe this week they release it on the news or something… I really hope they need people from the waitlist! </p>

<p>I don’t know if this happened to you guys. Please do check. My “Committed to Brown’s Waiting List” disappeared from my account. Right now it only says “Admissions Decisions are currently not available”. Maybe it means that they started to work with the waiting list?

<p>^ I remember seeing that like a month ago. I don’t think there’s anything new. On Brown’s site it says, “Brown will be offering these spaces on a rolling basis through the end of May.” Do you interpret that as we’ll start hearing around the end of May or they’re starting to send out notices and will be done by the end of May?</p>
<p>The document they attached said that they will begin sending acceptances around mid-May and will definitely be done by mid-June. My guess is that they have very, very few spots left to fill so the “end of May” just means they won’t be going into June with acceptances.</p>
<p>Actually, “Committed to Brown’s Waiting List” did indeed disappear. I would like to think that they started reviewing apps as well. XD</p>
