Congratulations still waiting!!:)

My daughter applied early Dec. as a pre-pharm major (on a whim) and received an acceptance 2 weeks later. I've been told that UCONN reviews apps in bunches and majors. I know a lot of Business majors who have heard already. I also know some who have been deffered.

My son finally heard today.

We did too!

Any other pre-pharm majors been accepted?? Also, does anyone know how many freshmen are accepted as pre-pharm in the ACES program? Anyone in that program now and how is it? Thanks, this will help us in our decision to attend UCONN.

I just got my acceptance today for early action, and I live overseas so anyone who is still waiting for early action should be getting theirs any day now.

I got in Today!!!

Congrats Early Grad!!! I have been waiting to see if you would get in. Go Huskies:)

So are you going to uconn stillwaiting?

Yes I'm going to UCONN.

Cool! So am I!

I applied to UCONN at the end of October for Early action, because UCONN is my dream school and I'm still waiting on a letter. My friend who lives in the same city, state as me got her acceptance letter, but me and my best friend have still yet to hear anything. Does anyone know what the problem could be? The anticipation is killing me!

I remember calling UCONN to see what was taking so long for them to get back to me. They said that I would know by mid feb. It is till mid feb. so you should be hearing next week sometime.

If I dont hear anything by next week, would it be irrational and probably hurt my chances of getting in by getting an answer or asking why I have not received anything over the phone?

i applied in september and didnt hear back till late jan., got into the aces, can anyone explain what the aces program is?

Basically they help you pick a major sort of thing. If you picked a major that has too many students already in it, they know some will drop, so they will advise you what classes to take so you can join later on. Lemme guess you picked businees/pharmacy?
