Its PROBABLY imo not necessary if your have a decent verbal and/or writing score.

you have to have at least 620 in verb to not to take it
because ihad to take my TOEFL

I was just wondering if this was on everybody's application status, or is it just for me?

I spoke to an adm counselor, he said its recommended and not required. ( even if you have a verbal SAT of 500)

really?
the rep i talked said that its 620 is minimum or they wotn even look at it...
because what happened was that they didnt even look at mine til my toefl score came and when they got ti, on the website it said all the files are complete and they will take a look at it now

I am sure about my information, I spoke to the deputy dean of admissions. Well I am an international student who has been in the US for a year and half may that played an influential factor. I spoke to him in school.

But how Rayo how did you do on the verbal SAT?

This is the e-mail that they sent me
Dear Michael,
If your SAT I verbal score is higher than a 620, we can waive the TOEFL. When that is not the case we do require the TOEFL. I would be happy to move your application to ED II. Please email me back to confirm that is what you would like to do.
