Anyone accepted with an ACT of 29 or under? Or SAT of 1800 Under

Just curious, that's all I'm wondering.

Thanks so much!

Reading the acceptance thread…I don’t see anyone accepted with less than 2100!

There are people in 1900 range. I for one got in with a 1990.

Grats!^

and yeahh that’s why I was wondering…this does not look good as someone with a 29 ACT lmao

Friend got in with ~1750 SAT and 28 ACT but he was black. I got into biomedical engineering with 32 ACT and 1960 SAT but I am quad legacy so bleh

I got in with a 30 ACT and a 1930 SAT.

2030 super scored SAT (1980 one sitting) but 28 ACT.

I know someone in my sons school that got in with a 3.6 gpa and a ACT score of 25, must’ve written some great essays.

You can’t just look at the scores on the existing Decisions thread as these will primarily be from the early admits that were scholarship finalists at the top of the applicant pool.

avilabeach805…was that person an athlete, URM, or legacy? like crawlings951 said, his friend had some “lower” scores but is an URM. Because USC looks at applications holistically and considers your accomplishments within your specific situation, some applicants will prevail and get acceptance. But if you have lower scores and don’t have an unusual situation (first generation college, overcome obstacles such as illness/disability, come from a low-performing school, etc.) then chances of getting in are less likely.

I was just accepted and I had an sat of 1800 and gpa of 3.9. I know I’m the exception, but SAT scores are clearly not all they look at :)

I got accepted today and I sent in scores of 1940 and 29 (Im international so I dont know if that makes a difference).

I got in with a 30 on ACT AND 1750 on SAT
lol

I got in with a 1980 but that was 2 years ago. SAT’s and ACT are huge but not the only factor. I bet if you write amazing essays and have a really high rank and GPA you should be fine

accepted with a 1800 and a 27

im a white male but declined to state my ethnicity.

i got in for my portfolio for sure

Wow this has certainly made me feel much less…pessimistic about USC hahaha. I guess I’ll be hearing back from them tomorrow.

I was optimistic about UCLA and Berkeley and those two didn’t work out too well so I hope USC does  Best wishes to everyone
