<p>@emprex be positive!! what are your stats? @haasmylove i sometimes think that i should have chosen econ too, but idk i guess i really really want haas. what breadth will you have left? and plus haas recommend students spread breadth over 4 years so you’re more than fine! :)</p>
<p>i seriously think i am going crazy though lol. i pretty much log into myberkeleyapp and the uc application site like three times a day just to re-read my essays and question, “wait did i answer the prompt correctly?” lol </p>

<p>my issue is that I’m missing the 2nd calc course which is basically auto rejection lol I did write in my app i’m trying to take it over the summer but i dont know what will happen.</p>

<p>Hmmm I think becuz Econ and Haas are really competitive so they want more students with a pretty high gpa…and stella E.C.s…and good personal statements?</p>

<p>@umairk27 also what did you write your other two essays about? i wrote one of mine about school clubs and a job that i had that made me interested in business and for the 2nd prompt i wrote about an experience that shaped me to be who i am today.</p>

What did you and @haasmylove do for your resume? Did you guys copy and paste the ec section of the uc app? Or did you explain more in the description box?</p>

<p>hey did any of you who applied to haas receive The HAN-SF Undergraduate Leadership Award (HULA) scholarship? i’m pretty sure this is the only one that you can’t apply for but you must be chosen. the leadership award is one you apply for.</p>
<p>The prompt was really tricky, but I took a more positive spin with it. I talked about why questioning the status quo was important for me to improve, not an “I suck at this because” approach. I had a personal story to go with it related to a conference I attended at Haas.</p>
<p>Here’s my stats:</p>
<p>GPA: 3.94
Breadth: 6/7 complete, 1 in progress
Prereqs: Calc 2 and Micro in progress, As in all prereqs
Job Exp: Hostessing, 10-25 hrs/wk, Customer Service 20 hrs/wk, eBay seller
Volunteerwork: Econ tutoring, scattered volunteer days, events to raise money for parks
ECs: Senior VP of an on-campus business club, Treasurer of another club that I started in HS and continued through college
Awards: Cert of Achievement from business club
Essays: I think they were alright, I kept them straightforward. Personal quality I wrote about was a lifelong struggle with a physical ailment and how I overcame it.</p>
<p>Hoping for the best, not getting my hopes up.</p>
